Senior Picture Locations – Glen Park in Portsmouth, Rhode Island

Living on Aquidneck Island and being surrounded by the most beautiful locations, it can be hard to choose which spot to have your senior pictures taken at. Do you want to be photographed on the beach or out in a field? Maybe a mix of both? I always send a list of my favorite locations out to my seniors, but I wanted to take that a step further and actually show photos from past sessions so you can really get a feel for what you’ll get from each location. Next up is another favorite location of mine – Glen Park in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. With open fields of grass and trees, stone walls, wooden fences, and an old barn and stables, this spot gives a great variety in your pictures. Not only that, but the way the sun shines through the trees as it sets makes for some beautiful back lit images. I do love shooting at the beach, but the light at a spot like this is my favorite. This park is never crowded and we usually have the area completely to ourselves – there are occasionally practices being held at the softball field but we are shooting across the way so there is no interference there. If you want a fall session, this area is especially gorgeous when the leaves change.
